IMX Speaker – Capt. David Goin

David Goin is a lifelong Western Kentucky native with more than 40 years of experience in the river towing industry. He began his career on the river in 1980 and served as a boat captain and mariner on the Western Rivers from 1986 to 2006.

Since 2006, David has held port captain leadership positions and currently serves as Senior Port Captain for Florida Marine Transporters in Mandeville, Louisiana. He brings decades of firsthand experience and industry knowledge from a career spent on America’s inland waterways.
