Andy Lee is a partner who founded and co-leads Jones Walker LLP’s privacy, data strategy and artificial intelligence team, holding the CIPP/US designation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. His cybersecurity and data privacy work encompasses advising clients on cybersecurity resilience and recovery, developing security policies for sensitive corporate data and leading incident response teams following cybersecurity breaches. As the lead author of Jones Walker’s critical infrastructure cybersecurity industry surveys published in 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024, he brings substantial expertise to his role. Andy also chairs the firm’s Innovation Committee and co-leads the Technology Industry Team.

While maintaining his privacy focus, Andy also brings valuable experience as a certified appellate specialist and trial lawyer in the Litigation Practice Group. His litigation background includes handling data breaches, invasion of privacy cases and computer software performance disputes, complementing his cybersecurity practice.
