Capt. Kate Fossati

Kate Fossati is a harbor pilot for Aransas-Corpus Christi Pilots in Corpus Christi, Texas. She has been a pilot since 2019, and she has been sailing on ships since 2008. Fossati received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Galveston along with her USCG Unlimited Third Mate License. She attained her Unlimited Master License before turning 30.  Fossati said that becoming a pilot was her dream and that she loves that her job allows her to work on the water with foreign and U.S. ships and tugs as well as inland tows.
