Russ Lampkins, Senior Vice President of Logistics, Customer Service and Vessel Operations, Ingram Barge Company 

 

Russ Lampkins serves as Ingram Marine Group’s senior vice president of logistics, customer service and vessel operations, where he oversees daily operations of linehaul and northern fleets, operating efficiency in the company’s logistics department and coordination with vendors and internal and external customers. Lampkins joined Ingram in 2006 as a logistics manager trainee. After time working in Reserve, Louisiana, and Paducah, Kentucky, he relocated back to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2018. Lampkins has held several roles during his time with the company, increasingly taking on more responsibility as his knowledge of the industry grew. His time and experience have made him uniquely qualified for his current role and highly respected by his peers.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Lampkins went on to obtain a master’s in business administration from Tulane University. He currently sits on the River Industry Executive Task Force (RIETF) and is a past member of the Paducah Propeller Club board of directors and River Discovery Center board of directors. Outside of the office, Lampkins can be found cheering on his beloved Tennessee Volunteers with his wife, Jessica, and daughter, Lucy.
