David Gilmore

David Gilmore, Director, Office of Marine Financing, U.S. Maritime Administration

David Gilmore is the director of the Office of Marine Financing at the U.S. Maritime Administration. Before he became director of that office in 2014, he held a variety of positions in the private sector and government. His experience includes serving as in-house counsel for several companies, including a major cruise line, as well as an attorney at the Maritime Administration and a large Washington, D.C. firm with a prominent maritime practice. He has been involved with the Federal Ship Financing Program and Capital Construction Fund Program for almost two decades.
