Brian Mueller, Chief Executive Officer, Heartland Companies

Brian Mueller is a well-rounded and grounded chief executive with extensive knowledge and expertise in management, operations, logistics, marketing and finance.   He began his career with Consolidated Grain & Barge and then worked at Midwest Marine Management prior to launching Heartland Barge in 1999.  Heartland Fabrication was started in 2005. An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for business has Mueller continuously exploring new initiatives and strategies to expand the offerings of the Heartland Companies. Mueller received a Bachelor of Science degree in agribusiness economics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois, in 1988.
