IMX Speaker – Dr. Martin Slade

Dr. Martin Slade is a leader in maritime health research and directs the Maritime Research Center at YaleUniversity, where he focuses on improving the wellbeing of seafarers worldwide. With a background inaerospace engineering and public health, his work identifies risk factors for illness and injury in maritimepopulations and develops evidence-based interventions. He collaborates with industry and governmentpartners, including NIOSH, to advance maritime safety and health outcomes. Dr. Slade has received multipleawards for innovation and research excellence in occupational and environmental medicine.
