IMX Speaker – Michael Meredith

Michael Meredith is the associate general counsel at Marquette Transportation Company. With nearly 10 years of experience in this role, he focuses on legal and contract needs, claims and risk management, supporting HR in the pre-employment process and insurance matters. Michael’s work spans all aspects of Marquette’s operations, with an emphasis on safety and compliance to help ensure both shore-based teams and mariners operate in a safe environment, while keeping operations running efficiently.

Before entering the maritime industry, Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and went on to earn his law degree there in 2015.
