IMX Speaker – Patrick McKinney

Patrick McKinney is the marine surveyor and lead auditor for Rushing Marine Service. With over 18 years of compliance experience in the maritime industry, Patrick is a seasoned leader holding responsibilities including TVIB-Certified AWO Responsible Carrier Program Lead Auditor, Subchapter M Lead Auditor, and Subchapter M Surveyor for Annual Surveys and Drydock & Internal Structural Examinations.

Prior to his career in the maritime industry, Patrick worked as a conductor and locomotive engineer with Norfolk Southern Corp and worked as the MSHA training manager for Kinder Morgan where he oversaw all aspects of their MSHA, Illinois DNR and USCG programs, including training, health and safety and compliance.

Patrick enjoys helping others as a certified instructor for the American Heart Association, Emergency Care and Safety Institute, and MSHA.
