Cliff Neve is a retired U.S. Coast Guard Commander and maritime cybersecurity leader with over 30 years of operational and security experience. As vice president of maritime cybersecurity of MAD Security, he has helped pioneer managed cybersecurity services for the maritime industry, supporting ports, vessel operators and federal partners in strengthening cyber resilience. Cliff played a foundational role in developing one of the first maritime-focused SOC capabilities in the U.S. and has worked closely with government and industry to address evolving cyber risks across the Marine Transportation System. He brings a practical, operator-focused perspective to cybersecurity compliance, with a focus on simplifying complex requirements into actionable steps for vessel and shoreside teams.
