Developed by PileMedic engineers, the patented SPiRe® system is composed of rigid, flat, high-strength panels made with advanced fiber composite materials. In the field, the 4-foot-wide panels are connected to create a stay-in-place impervious wall in front of the corroded seawall or bulkhead.  The annular space is filled with concrete and optionally reinforcing bars. The impervious wall deprives the corroded seawall from moisture and oxygen, bringing the corrosion rate to a near halt.
