IMX Speaker – Kenneth Humphrey

Kenneth Humphreys is a licensed professional engineer and managing partner of MiNO Marine, LLC, a naval architecture and marine engineering firm based in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of New Orleans. Over a 34-year career, he has worked across a broad spectrum of roles — naval architect, project and program manager, estimating manager, R&D manager, process improvement leader, university lecturer and business owner — bringing both technical depth and executive leadership to every engagement.

His project experience includes commercial workboat design, semi-submersible and drillship rig development, government shipbuilding programs, liftboat design and river towboat design, spanning many sectors of the marine industry. Kenneth joined MiNO Marine in 2006 and has led the firm as managing partner alongside his business partner, David Bourg, guiding its engineering practice and business development.
