IMX Speaker – The Rev. Mark Nestlehutt

The Rev. Mark Nestlehutt is President and Executive Director of the Seamen’s Church Institute, where he leads initiatives supporting mariner wellbeing, education and maritime safety. With more than two decades of ministry experience across the U.S. and internationally, he brings a deep commitment to serving maritime communities. His background includes service as a U.S. Navy officer and leadership roles in nonprofit development and financial services. Mark holds degrees from the University of Georgia and theological training from the Episcopal Divinity School, with a focus on global and ecumenical studies.
